Samsung is another of the technology brands that have become accustomed to a lively pace of launches . In a week defined by the official arrival of the ambitious Galaxy Z Fold2 , the company has announced and shown a barrage of products (refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, a smart projector, a gaming monitor, the next A42 5G …), list in which we stop at the Galaxy Fit2, an activity bracelet with an autonomy of up to 21 days .

It is about his bet for the remainder of 2020 in a field of strong competition to which more and more manufacturers are joining and in which Xiaomi appears as a great rival with its Smart Bands , without forgetting the irruption of Amazon with its Halo Band .

The South Korean giant has not specified the date on which the wearable will go on sale and its price has not advanced either. However, its appearance is intuited close and as for the disbursement that it will suppose, the fact that its predecessors, the Galaxy Fit and the Fit e (more economical profile), can be taken as a reference , around 100 and 50 euros , respectively. . Samsung released both models in February 2019 .

With a 159 mAh battery, Samsung promises that the Galaxy Fit2 lasts up to 15 days on average, to which it adds that it resists without recharging up to 21 days according to the set configuration . It weighs 21 grams on the strap and features a 1.1-inch Amoled display (3D curved glass) with up to 450 nits of brightness. For comparison, the panel of the previous ones is 0.95 (Fit) and 0.74 inches (Fit e), which on the other hand offered a week of autonomy.

The bracelet features recognizable elements such as measuring heart rate, distance traveled, calories burned, and monitoring sleep patterns . It contemplates five types of activity , which are detected automatically. It has three sensors: photoplethysmography (related to heart rate), accelerometer and gyroscope.

With the classic IP-68 certification , it has a water resistance of 5 ATM . It will be sold in two colors: black and scarlet.
