Niantic and the Pokémon GO team announced that due to technical issues that occurred during Dragon Week, this global compensation event will be available again from Friday, August 21, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. to Wednesday, August 26. 2020 at 22:00 (local time).

The bug that Niantic specifically talks about is the temporary reward that was not allowing a large majority of players to complete. Also, several trainers expressed their discomfort at having such a low percentage of Deino hatching during the week of the aforementioned event.

Therefore, during this compensation week, all trainers in the world of Pokémon GO will be able to access a new temporary Investigation. The rewards for these new investigations will be the same as those that were available in the previous Dragon Week , although the tasks will be slightly different.
