Niantic conducted a survey so that trainers around the world can choose the star Pokémon for the next Community Day. Porygon and Charmander have been chosen and, therefore, will be the protagonists of this monthly Pokémon GO event during September and October.
According to the results of the survey conducted on the Pokémon GO Twitter account , Porygon obtained 55.3% , Charmander with 36.6%, Caterpie with 4.1% and Grimer with 3.9% . In this way, the events are as follows:
-Community Day of September (Sunday 20): the protagonist will be Porygon.
-October Community Day (Saturday 17): the star will be Charmander .

These are the exclusive attacks that Porygon and Charmander will present during their respective Community Day :

-Porygon: evolve a Porygon 2 (the evolved form of Porygon) to obtain a Porygon-Z that knows the Normal-type triathlete. This ability will be new in Pokémon GO and, when using it, there is the possibility of reducing the attack and defense of the rival Pokémon.
-Charmander: Evolve a Charmeleon (the evolved form of Charmander) to obtain a Charizard that knows the Dragon-type dragon breath attack. This ability gives the Pokémon a fast attack that deals high damage and is also super effective against Dragon-type creatures.
Also, a recent leak ensures that Charizard will be one of the Pokémon that can megaevolve. Therefore, the Community Day October, where Charmander will star would be the perfect opportunity to capture more of these creatures so we can get Charizard X and Charizard Y .
