Oxford to Resume Covid-19 Vaccine Trials

The English University of Oxford reported this Saturday that it will resume clinical trials of the COVID-19 vaccine, after being recently interrupted after a volunteer in the United Kingdom suffered an adverse reaction.

In a statement, Oxford said that testing of the vaccine, called ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 , will resume in the United Kingdom after pausing on the 6th as a precautionary measure.

This possible vaccine, considered one of the most advanced developed in the world , is in the final stages of clinical trials before receiving authorization from regulatory bodies to proceed with immunizing the population.
