Microsoft announces that Xbox Series X will go on sale in November

Technology News

Microsoft has announced that the new Xbox Series X console will launch in November . Until now it was only known that it would arrive at the end of 2020, but with this announcement the date of the arrival of the new generation is specified a little more. At the moment, Sony has not given more information about the sale of PlayStation 5 .

Along with the announcement of the launch month of the new Xbox, Microsoft and studio 343 Industries have confirmed that Halo Infinite is delayed until 2021 . The company says it wants to develop the most ambitious Halo installment in the series and that they need more time to achieve this.

This leaves the launch of Xbox Series X quite an orphan, since Halo Infinite was Microsoft’s flagship game by the end of the year. Despite this, the Redmond company ensures that Xbox Series X will offer thousands of titles to play thanks to backward compatibility. Additionally, there will be more than 100 games optimized for Xbox Series X, including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla , Dirt 5 , Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and Watch Dogs: Legion .

On the other hand, Microsoft continues to improve the Xbox Game Pass proposal to make it the video game service on demand par excellence. Starting September 15 , Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to stream Xbox One titles from the cloud on Android devices thanks to Project xCloud .
