Don Gaetz is an American Republican politician. He has represented many parts of North West Florida, as a member of the Florida State Senate for ten years from 2006 to 2016. Don also served as President of the Florida Senate. He is probably best known as the father of the ANC, Matt Gaetz, who recently fell into the trap of human trafficking. Early life
Don Gaetz was born on January 22nd, 1948 in Rugby, North Dakota, United States. His father, Jerry Gaetz has served as mayor of Rugby. He was also a member of the Lieutenant Governor of North Dakota. During a live TV broadcast of the 1964 North Dakota Republic Party event, Jerry died of a heart attack.
About his education, he studied at Concordia College. Don holds a college graduate degree in religion and political science. He later enrolled at Troy State University where he obtained a Masters degree in education.
