Joan Laporta will run again for the elections to the presidency of FC Barcelona , as confirmed by the SER Catalunya program ‘La Llotja del Què T’hi Jugues’.
Laporta, very critical of the management of the Josep María Bartomeu board , already presided over the Barça club between 2003 and 2010 and is already working on building a team to head this new project .
It is not the first time that Laporta tries to return to the presidency of Barça . He tried in the 2015 elections, but lost to Bartomeu by adding 15,615 votes.
Laporta is the fifth confirmed candidate in Barcelona’s electoral race, along with Lluís Fernández Alà , Agustí Benedito , Víctor Font and Jordi Farré
