Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War already has an official trailer and release date. The long-awaited sequel to the Activision title (developed by Treyarch and Raven), which this time will take place during the Cold War, will arrive on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and PC on November 13.
Regarding the campaign, it will be set in the 80s during the Cold War (in the trailer you can see Ronald Reagan) with a story that, as is usually traditional, will mix reality and large doses of fiction. In addition, of course, it will have an online mode and the usual possibility of facing hordes of zombies typical of the Black Ops.
This time the story will have several different endings, which will depend on the decisions we make throughout the game. Call of Duty have long wanted to increase their narrative rawness, although the few decisions they allowed to make had little consequences, so this seems to change. Another novelty of Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War will be the possibility of customizing our character.
On September 9, more details about the gameplay will be given, since this advance has not resolved many doubts. Well-known characters have been seen, such as Woods or Hudson, and the appearance of other already classic elements such as remote-controlled explosive cars.
When buying Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War, three options will be available: the normal version of the game (for 59.99 euros), the Cross-Gen version (for 74.99 euros, includes an additional weapons package and it will allow updating to the new generation version when PS5 and Xbox Series X arrive) and the Ultimate version (all of the above, plus Battle Pass and some customization elements, in this case for 89.99 euros). At this time, no collector’s editions have been announced
